Understanding Your Cardboard Foot Pattern

Knitting Our First Sock

For our Sock knitting workshop, we will be using DK yarn and size 5 needle with a 32-inch cable. The yarn I am using is from KnitPicks and my needles are from the Sunstruck set from KnitPicks, also. You can purchase fixed circular needles in the size required if you prefer. I have linked to the Radiant Fixed Circulars at KnitPicks if you are interested. They have other colors as well. Be sure to order a size 5 in either a 32" or 40" length. The following are links to the individual lessons for our Sock Workshop. They will contain links as the videos are created. Also, there is a link to the Angel-ic Round Toe pattern that we will be using. Additionally, we will be adding variations at a later time for other toes. We are starting with Tod-Up Socks, but there will be additional links for doing Cuff-Down Socks. It is a good idea to know how to do both styles, because some patterns that you may find will not translate from one style to the other. Happy Knitting!!!   ~Jae~
